PlusRomanceast is a concept experience for adults. All featured profiles are fictional illustrations, not real people you can contact. Our information pages are drafted for this demonstration and require review before a public service launches.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can ask your browser to keep and send with later requests. Other browser storage mechanisms, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, can remember settings without functioning exactly like HTTP cookies. It matters to distinguish them because browsers offer different controls and because an accurate notice should describe the actual technology used. The PlusRomanceast static demonstration uses localStorage for a practice profile, favourites, and cookie preferences, and sessionStorage for adult-age confirmation. It does not add advertising, behavioural analytics, or cross-site tracking scripts.
Strictly necessary local functionality
Some browser storage is necessary to remember a choice you explicitly make. The site uses localStorage to keep a practice profile and saved fictional cards on the same device so that refreshing the page does not erase the demo. It also records your cookie preference so the banner does not keep interrupting you. Age confirmation is remembered for the current session. These features operate locally rather than creating a server-side account. If you disable storage, buttons may stop remembering preferences between visits. You can still read static information pages without creating a profile.
Optional settings
The cookie preference panel allows you to acknowledge necessary site storage and separately choose optional preference storage. The demo does not currently deploy analytics or marketing cookies, regardless of which option you select. An optional preference is not permission for undisclosed advertising trackers. If additional categories are introduced later, their purpose, providers, duration, and legal basis must be explained before they are enabled where consent is required. The interface should make rejecting optional tracking as straightforward as accepting it, and people should be able to change their decisions easily.
External images and fonts
The site may fetch decorative portrait imagery from the Pexels image delivery network and font files from Google Fonts. These remote requests may involve standard connection metadata handled by the respective external providers. Even when our own scripts do not set third-party cookies, network requests can have privacy implications. The website owner should audit those services in the production environment, consider self-hosting assets, and update the disclosure as needed. Stock photographs are not real member portraits and do not indicate that the depicted individuals participate in this dating demonstration.
How to change your choice
Open the cookie preferences control in the footer to review your settings. You can also use your browser's site-data settings to clear localStorage and sessionStorage for the domain. Clearing these values may remove your practice profile, saved demo cards, and age confirmation, which means you may need to enter them again. Browser vendors use different menu names for managing cookies and local site storage. If you browse in private mode, settings may be discarded after that window closes. None of these options should require you to surrender unnecessary personal information.
No behavioural advertising in this demo
PlusRomanceast does not currently embed ad networks, conversion pixels, cross-site retargeting tools, social tracking widgets, or analytics scripts. There is no active membership product to market through behavioural advertising. If the site owner later introduces measurement or promotion, it should first identify each technology, assess its lawful basis, disclose external recipients, provide appropriate choices, and verify the actual implementation. A generic banner cannot make undisclosed tracking acceptable. Real consent must be understandable, specific, and connected to the processing that actually occurs.
Duration and deletion
Browser-stored profile and shortlist values remain until you delete them or the browser clears them. Session storage generally lasts for the current browser tab or browsing session, subject to browser behaviour. Cookie preferences may persist in localStorage until changed or removed. The current code does not upload these values to a site database. Remote hosting and asset providers may have their own logging or retention practices, which are not controlled by localStorage settings alone. A production privacy audit should capture those relationships and define realistic retention schedules for any new services.
Keeping this notice accurate
Technology can change between a design prototype and a public dating service. Before adding account analytics, fraud prevention, live messaging, or payment integrations, the site owner must revisit this notice and the Privacy Policy to describe new data flows truthfully. Cookie consent tools should be tested for keyboard access, mobile screens, opt-out enforcement, and genuine preference persistence. Visitors should not be forced into optional tracking as the price of reading publicly accessible information. Our goal is to provide practical explanations, not broad claims that every type of processing is harmless.
Reading a profile thoughtfully
Profiles are starting points, not personality tests. When evaluating someone on a genuine dating service, look beyond a polished headline and consider how their stated interests, priorities, and communication style relate to what you want. Appearance, nationality, and age do not establish a person's kindness or reliability. Ask respectful open-ended questions, allow enough time to learn about differences, and make sure any next step is mutual. A sample persona in this website is not available to contact; examples are presented so you can understand how navigation and clear language could support future choices.
An accessible experience
Accessibility is part of a reliable digital experience. Navigation should be understandable using a keyboard, text should remain legible at different screen sizes, and important buttons should communicate their purpose without relying only on colour. Forms need labels and feedback. This demonstration is designed with those principles in mind, but real-world testing across assistive technologies is still important. A future product should also consider language support, inclusive profile prompts, and ways to report usability barriers without sharing more private information than needed.
Respect for personal boundaries
Being interested in another person never grants permission to demand information, contact, a meeting, or a response. Healthy communication makes room for someone to say no, change their mind, or end a conversation. Respectful behaviour includes accepting differences without insults, avoiding stereotypes, keeping private conversations private, and noticing signs of manipulation. Anyone using an operational dating platform should have accessible ways to block unwanted contact. This demonstration has no messaging and thus cannot enforce those boundaries for real interactions, but it can explain why they matter.
Technology should be transparent
An honest digital product tells visitors what happens when they click. A saved item should not be described as a mutual match, an illustrative image should not be passed off as a registered member, and a form without a backend should not claim to have delivered data to a support team. Clear limitations help visitors evaluate the experience on its merits. If the website later gains real accounts, its operator will need appropriate security, moderation, data protection, and customer support. Trustworthy features should be demonstrated through working systems rather than assumed from polished presentation.
